For a premium appearance and enhanced protection against corrosion and rust, CARDONE Color-Coated Calipers feature a weather-proof coating available in red or yellow. Each caliper is built with brand-new, premium components to guarantee exceptional braking performance and longevity. They are also tested to meet rigorous standards and packaged with a complete set of brand-new hardware for a simple, complete installation. Caliper bracket is included when applicable.

Coated Calipers feature an exclusive weather-proof coating that stops rust from forming and a showroom appearance.

Rubber seals are replaced with new high temperature EPDM rubber for extended life and optimum performance.

Pistons are durable, resistant to cracking or pitting and handle great loads.

Mounting bracket is included where applicable for a hassle-free installation.

New banjo bolts are included where applicable to ensure a perfect fit and quick installation.

New bleeder screws provide trouble-free bleeding and a positive seal.

New washers are included where applicable for a proper seal.

A plastic cap plug protects every brake port thread to ensure a trouble free installation.

New stainless steel hardware clips and new mounting pins are included where applicable.

FAA_A1	-	Our coated calipers are currently available in silver, blue, yellow and red.
FAA_A2	-	Not recommended. the o.e. manufacturers specified steel or phenolic pistons based on the intended use of the vehicle. it is recommended that the installer follow the manufacturer’s recommendations.
FAA_A3	-	As a rule, always use brake fluid recommended by o.e. the fluid type is stamped on the master cylinder reservoir lid. always use new fluid in a sealed container.
FAA_A4	-	Inspect both calipers for binding or sticky slides or pins. also ensure that brake hoses are not collapsed or restricted and inspect steering/suspension components for proper operation.
FAA_A5	-	Brake squeal can be caused by improper installation of the brake pads, improperly installed brake hardware and improper brake rotor finish.
FAA_A6	-	A symptom of a low brake pedal is usually caused by air in the system, misadjusted rear brake shoes, deteriorated brake hose(s) or a defective master cylinder.
FAA_A7	-	A silicone grease is used on floating caliper mounting pins.
FAA_A8	-	New hardware is included with all of our calipers however the mounting bracket is an added option depending on part number and application. mounting brackets are also sold separately for most applications.
