- When the original equipment fuel tank crossmember rusts apart on certain Ford Ranger pickup trucks, the dealer's solution is to replace the frame. To escape that fate, the only solution is to find a usable frame in a salvage yard or fabricate a repair. This Dorman OE FIX crossmember bolts into place to repair only the affected part of the frame, avoiding the time-consuming labor required to swap frames. It features a corrosion-resistant electrocoated finish for durability and long life.
