Compressor-The compressor is usually driven by theengine via a wedge belt or a ribbed V-belt.It compresses and transports therefrigerant in the system.There are different designs available.The refrigerant is sucked in as a gas atlow temperature from the evaporator; it isthen compressed. Subsequently it isforwarded in a gaseous state at hightemperature and under high pressure tothe condenser.
