- This Litens belt tensioner is supplied by the original equipment (O.E.) tensioner supplier and meets all form, fit, and performance characteristics of the original equipment part . As with the original equipment part, this replacement tensioner is manufactured in Japan for Lexus w/2.0L applications. This tensioner comes equipped with a heavy duty steel pulley with a premium level ball bearing for optimum performance and durability. The integrated damping system and enhanced corrosion resistant pivot system provide maintenance free tensioner motion control and alignment.
- Designed and engineered by the Original Equipment supplier of this application.
- Heavy Duty Steel Pulley
- Includes lift-lug feature for ease of installation on back of tensioner arm.
- Accessory drive belts and tensioners are manufactured with similar design life targets. Since belt removal is required to change the tensioner, replacing both will extend the system service life and lower labor costs versus individual replacement.
- Belt removal is required to change the tensioner. Therefore, doing both together will extend accessory drive life and lower overall labor versus performing these services separately.
